Ojo con las cancelaciones!!!

Todos sabemos en que cultura vivimos..... Cuando sonamos con nuestro matrimonio cali pensamos en estar rodeados de nuestros amigoa y familiares.... Se arma la lista de invitados y vemos que pasan las presupuestadas inicialmente y empieza uno la peluqueria, sacando invitados por que el presupuesto no alcanza para invitarlos a todos. Despues de entregar las invitaciones, les aseguro de ni el 10% confirmara formalmente (por escrito o por medio de una llamada) si no que te diran inmediatamente que SI!! al recibir la tarjeta, y 1 semana antes de la boda empiezan todos a CANCELAR. si, asi como lo oye, o sea a dejarle a uno el plato servido. Asi que siempre: presupueste por lo bajo. Segun el libro de bodas para Dummies aproximadamente el 30% de los invitados a una fiesta no asisten, asi que no se asuste.... invite al que quiera que igual 30% van a cancelarle a ultima hora. Igual quedaran los que valen la pena.

Mas requerimientos de la Iglesia.

Nuevos inconvenientes a la vista, algo que no se te informa comunmente cuando vas a hacer un matrimonio cali es que si estas corto de tiempo por viaje (ya sea que alguno viva en el extranjero como es mi caso) o si tienen poco tiempo en la ciudad antes de celebrar el matrimonio se puede obtener de la arquidiocesis de cali un doumento llamado "Dispensa de Proclamas"
Se obtiene en la arquidiocesis en la caja de 11 am a 5 pm (queda al lado de la iglesia la marced) con un valor aproximado de 5 mil pesos.
Con este documento se omite la publicacion de las proclamas por 2 semanas en la entrada de la parroquia por muchas posibles razones:
peligro de que el matrimonio de impida maliciosamente, que uno de los contrayentes desista con grave danio del otro, peligro de escandalo por dilacion del matrimonio, peligro de que surjan peleas entre familias si el matrimonio no se celebra cuanto antes, cesacion del concubinato (es en serio :) ) condicion dispareja de los contrayentes, exposicion a burlas a causa de la edad de los novios, cuando no se pueda dilatar el matrimonio a causa de viaje (esa es la mia) verguenza de los contrayentes por reciente viudez.
Asi que si van a celebrar el matrimonio cali y les es imposible llegar con mas de 2 semanas de anticipacion a la ciudad, CONSIGAN ESTE DOCUMENTO!!.

Alquiler de Trajes, Falta poco! Y yo necesitando un Velo!!

Continuando en esta busqueda de todos esos pequenios detalles que hacen que una boda sea el dia mas feliz de tu vida, me di cuenta que aunque ya tengo el vestido me haca falta algo super importante!!! el Velo!!!
Como pueden leer en entradas anteriores estaba frita con los sitios de alquileres hasta que una muy buena amiga mia del colegio me dio la solucion perfecta!
Me dio el dato de un sitio perfecto, el almacen se llama MARIBEL ARANGO, Ave 3a Norte No 44 -09 tel 665 04 88 es una lastima que no tengan un sitio de internet que funcione pero tienen vestidos de novia lindisimos desde 250mil pesos en adelante y alquilan vestidos de fiesta desde 80 mil pesos, todos son muy lindos y bien mantenidos y el alquiler del velo mas sencillo era de 40 mil, que justamente era el que mas me gusto!!!! Asi que quedo reservado para la gran fecha y lo recojo 2 dias antes de el gran dia yupi!!!

Church wedding

Please note that many people would like to have a church wedding, a catholic one for most Colombians.
Make sure to speak to your church's priest (the one you belong to, not necessarily the one that you want to be maried by) and get the pre- requisites in order to get married.
My husband to be belongs to the Church of england! so you need a special permit signed by the bishop for something that is called a Mixed marriage delegation. This is not difficult to obtain but you need to get it signed at the Arquidiocesis de Cali, the offices are close to La Merced Church.
you may only be married by the catholic church in an actual designated church! so PLEASE make sure that you get proper permission for any chapel before you find out that you can't get married there.
Also if you want to be married by a catholic priest wave goodbye to any OUTDOOR wedding. This will not happen. You will have to get a registrar instead.
The most important requirement is the pre-marital course, this takes 2 days minimum, so please take this into account if there are any flight arrangements to be sorted.
these courses are not done by the priests themselves but by groups like Movimiento familiar cristiano who help couples with these courses.
Also you only get your marriage certificate from the church 7 days after the wedding and then it is important to take it to the notary to be able to register it and make it LEGAL. (usualy by then you are on your honeymoon and it gets forgotten that this is important to do)
well i wish someone told me first of all this!!!! I am a nerve wreck as my fiance will arrive in cali 3 days before the wedding. wish me luck!!!

Bueno poco a poco se acerca la hora del matrimonio, ya tengo el sitio perfecto, el vestido perfecto fue comprado por mis futuros suegros en inglaterra y es absolutamente perfecto!
Tambien tengo mi decorador, se llama David Vasquez y es el mejor decorador de Cali, ideas super originales y es muy creativo, l forma mas facil es contactarlo por facebook, pondre fotos de la fiesta apenas regrese de mi luna de miel!!!
Muy contenta, ahora solo me falta relajarme en las limpiezas faciales (ok nadie que haya sufrido una limpieza facial se relaja en ella) pero pronto llegara el bano de Luna y el masaje yupi!!!

Ok. i still have 10 months, but since i will be leaving cali for 6 months it means that i have a lot less available time to finish everyting. If you are looking for invites in Cali. Editores Pasoancho on 56th and pasoancho street are very professional, and they are very reasonably priced. Would recommend it to anyone.
But in the end i went with Jairo Andrés Jiménez Cardozo and his mother Nubia since they own a printing company and Jairo is the brother of one of my university friends. (if you need to contact hime he is the Creative Director of UNORAYA 301 2425929) Once they are finished i shall post it here in the blog.
